Dechant Music Academy (DMA) is the only manufacturer of all DECHANT musical instruments and Beepy&Capito brand. Jawoll is currently the only authorized retailer and distributor of DECHANT products in Germany.
Only DECHANT instruments and Beepy&Capito headphones purchased from authorized dealers like Jawoll are eligible for the full 2-year warranty and manufacturer support.
Our authorized dealers are specially trained to provide expert service and support throughout your entire purchase journey, ensuring you receive the authentic DMA experience.

Important: Unauthorized retailers cannot provide these assurances, warranty coverage, or the benefits of genuine DECHANT ownership.

Standard Warranty

2-Year Warranty

All pianos purchased from Dechant Music Academy come with a 2-year standard warranty, effective from the date of purchase. This warranty covers any manufacturing defects or malfunctions under normal usage conditions.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

1.  The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2.  Proof of purchase (invoice or receipt) is required to claim warranty service. Once verified → customer can discard invoice
3.  Customer must register within 30 days of purchase. 
4.  The warranty is void if the item has been misused, improperly maintained, or serviced by unauthorized technicians.
5.  BONUS:  The 2-year warranty period starts from the registration date if it's done withing 30 days.

5. Late Registration (after 30 days): Still requires invoice for warranty validation, 
6. Customer can keep the benefits, but you've verified the date. 
7.  Warranty expires based on actual purchase date, not registration date. 

How to Register Your Warranty?

1.  Visit our Warranty Registration Page.
2.  Complete the form within 30 days after the purchase.
3.  Product details (model and serial number). 
4.  Purchase information (receipt or invoice): Invoice number, purchase date, retailer name. 
5.  Contact details.
6.  Submit the form to activate your benefits.

Maintenance Tips for Your Piano

2 Years Warranty

To ensure your piano remains in excellent condition throughout its lifetime:
  •     Humidity Control: Keep the piano in an environment with 40–50% humidity. Use a humidifier or dehumidifier if necessary.
  •     Avoid Temperature Extremes: Do not place the piano near windows, heaters, or air conditioners.
  •     Regular Cleaning: Dust the piano with a soft cloth and avoid using harsh chemicals.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. What happens if I don’t register my piano or headphones?
You will still enjoy the 2-year standard warranty counted from the purchase date. You have to keep and show us the official receipt of purchase. 

2. Can I transfer my warranty to someone else?
No, the warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and this person who registers. 

3. What should I do if my piano is damaged during delivery?
Contact us immediately upon delivery. Transport-related damages must be reported within 7 days of receipt.

4. Are digital pianos included in the warranty?
Yes, our warranty covers both acoustic and digital pianos. For digital pianos, the warranty applies to internal electronics, speakers, and displays.

Extended warranty customers receive priority repair services to minimize delays and inconvenience.
