▶️ What is an Interval?

An interval is the distance between two musical tones.
For example: C4 + C5, C4 + E4, B3 + F4.

As long as you press only two tones, like C4 + E4, that's considered an interval.

✅ There are two ways to play intervals:

1️⃣ Melodic Interval - The two tones are played one after the other.

2️⃣ Harmonic Interval - The two tones are played simultaneously.

In this video you will find some piano examples of both melodic and harmonic intervals.

Look at the 5 upcoming examples and identify the interval types.
